What is the artist's name?
The artist's name is EL ANATSUI.

Where was EL ANASTUI born?
He was born in Ghana located in Anyako.which is located in the volta region of Ghana.

What is his work like?
His work is mostly sculpturing (which are visual arts)he uses recycled materials such as cans and plastic. He first pokes holes on the material and connects them with wire and separate them into small parts after he has all the parts he connects then block by block.
his work looks like a cloth or a piece of silk from far away but when you get closer to the artwork you can actually see the metal cans and plastic caps or bottles.

What does he make?
El anatsui makes art using waste for example plastic bottle caps or the end of a metal tin and he usually hang his works on the wall and they look like hanging cloth, some of his works are the bleeding taker or many came back.

What materials does EL Anastui use?
his materials range from old milk tins, railway slippers, iron nails, driftwood, and printing plates.

The Bleeding Takari
The artwork is called bleeding takari made during 2008 and it's made from bottle caps and foil seals from liquor bottles, the meaning of the bleeding takari is regeneration antasui said: "comes with blood as well, like childbirth,: and brokenness and decay can also be a condition for a new growth, rebirth."El Anatsui sees the term takari as in freely to designated.

What do I think about his artworks?
I really like his artworks not only does it save of planet but also shows off the beauty of sculpturing, it uses the element texture, color, and form.
